The pulley came out of a 70-150 year old barn (some parts of the barn are 150 years old, other parts added on later). These pulleys came straight from the roof of where the hay bails were. These pulleys would have been used in the barn hayloft to help load the hay from the wagons into the loft during haymaking season in the summer. They are in great condition. Would make great hanging lamps, just throw in some Edison bulb. They age from the turn of the century. The wheel is solid and turns easily, they show signs of wear. They have such a great industrial Cast Iron look. They would also go well with any primitive setting. I have a few and they are $25 a piece.
