The seat opens to store your sheet music. It has some scratches with age. It is a super solid bench. It would make the best coffee table. Great stool for putting up your feet or as additional seating. Perfect for an end of the bed bench seat, a mud room or an entry way. Sit and take your shoes off and store underneath. There is a metal hinge strip on the back. It measures about 36″ wide, 22″ high and about 15″ deep.
