This set does not work, so sad. It has a crack in the top above the screen, but otherwise nice and solid. Dysfunctional TV seems to be more useful than you thought. Pull out screen and make bar out of it, bookcase, shelves, cat bed ect. These old TV’s were built to be serviced, so getting the chassis should be simple.
