Indigo Dyed Cotton Pair of Momohiki Pants Under Garment

Excellent condition pair of momohiki pants. These are the traditional type of leg covering worn by Japanese farmers. They were worn both under the garment to keep warmer as well as some momhiki pant, over the garment to protect clothing. Momohiki, like most of the clothing used by Japanese farmers in the past, were dyed blue with indigo, which is said to deter snakes and insects. The upper, triangular portion wraps at the waist with with ties, no zippers or buttons. These are quite wearable for a very small sized person. No claims as to their comfort or how easy they would be to put on! They are tight around the legs and there are no real measurements to give you.
