There is a custom glass top for the table. The tree was crafted from a tree taken down by Hurricane Sandy. The hurricane took down most of my parents forest and my dad started making furniture from the trees. He is playing with the design of this table right now. This is the first of this particular design. It’s a natural edge surrounding this Maple coffee table, with curly maple grain plus burl maple. It’s then set on a natural carved wood base. We believe in using recycled materials to lessen our footprint on the environment. So we are making furniture from trees that have already fallen or reclaimed wood from old building. We also work with local craftsmen for parts that we need for our items.
