These crates are made from reclaimed barn wood. Currently the standard ones in stock are 12″, perfect for records. They can be made any size you need, and the starting price is $65. Every bit of the crate is hand cut. We shave the slates ourselves from the roof rafters. And we cut each crate to size. Each crate will be unique based on the knots and wear of the wood used. The original design was inspired from a Bushel Apple/Vegetable Crates common in the United States. Most vintage wood crates were made of the cheapest material available. This crate is upgrade and is made of reclaimed barnwood.
