Everything on this piece is original. It measures about 25 1/4″ by about 26″ by about 30″ high. It came from my great aunts attic, who told me that she acquired it from the Rinker Country Store in Sciota Pa. It is at least 150 years old. The glass is a lovely old texture. Antique country store display, an oversized counter top model with three glazed panels. The back door opens easily and features a metal knob that you twist to open. The frame is all wood. It would have sat on the counter. I have no clue what would have or was displayed in it. In my head I like to think chickens, because of the small hole in the door. But that is not going to be anywhere close to what was actually displayed in it, probably bread.
